This Privacy Policy explains how this personal website and AI product photo editing project collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit luforgeai.com or use Luforge tools.

Last updated: June 13, 2026

1. Scope

Luforge is a personal website and AI product photo editing project operated by an independent individual. In this policy, Luforge, we, us, and our refer to that site and its independent operator. This policy applies to our website, web app, product photo editors, related support communications, and any page that links to this policy.

This policy does not apply to third-party websites, marketplaces, payment processors, AI providers, analytics providers, or other services that are governed by their own privacy notices.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and contact information. Name, email address, login identifiers, profile details, waitlist requests, support messages, and other information you choose to provide.
  • Uploaded and generated content. Product photos, image files, prompts, preset choices, generated outputs, file names, file type, file size, image dimensions, and metadata needed to provide the editing workflow.
  • Usage and device information. IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps, session information, error reports, rate limit events, API usage, latency, and cost-related operational data.
  • Payment and subscription information. If paid plans are offered, we may receive plan, invoice, billing address, tax, payment status, and transaction information. Full payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not meant to be stored by Luforge.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics identifiers, and similar tools may be used to keep the site working, remember preferences, measure performance, understand usage, and protect the service.

Please do not upload images or prompts that contain sensitive personal information, private documents, biometric identifiers, medical data, financial account data, or content you are not allowed to use.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the website and tools;
  • process uploaded images and prompts to create requested outputs;
  • manage accounts, credits, subscriptions, payments, and support;
  • measure product usage, page performance, conversion, latency, and cost;
  • detect abuse, enforce rate limits, debug errors, and secure the service;
  • send service messages, policy updates, and requested marketing messages;
  • comply with law, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect rights and safety.

4. AI Processing

Luforge is an AI image editing product. To provide the service, we may send your uploaded images, prompts, presets, and related request metadata from our server to AI infrastructure providers and other service providers that help generate, store, secure, or deliver your results.

We do not use your private uploaded images or generated outputs in marketing materials unless you give us permission. We may review limited request metadata, logs, or content you intentionally send to support when needed to troubleshoot, investigate abuse, or improve reliability.

AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, non-unique, or unsuitable for a specific marketplace. You are responsible for checking that generated images accurately represent your product before publishing or using them commercially.

5. Legal Bases for EEA and UK Users

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases where applicable:

  • Contract. To provide the service you request, including image generation, account features, credits, and support.
  • Legitimate interests. To secure, improve, analyze, debug, and prevent abuse of our website and tools.
  • Consent. For optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies where consent is required.
  • Legal obligations. For tax, accounting, compliance, dispute, fraud prevention, and other legal requirements.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers. Hosting, cloud storage, CDN, database, AI infrastructure, analytics, security, logging, email, support, payment, and billing providers that process information for us.
  • Legal and operational recipients. Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, law enforcement, courts, regulators, and parties involved in a lawful transfer of this website, project, or related assets.
  • With your direction or consent. For example, when you ask us to share information with another service or publish a customer example.

At this MVP stage, we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used in California privacy law. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide required choices.

7. Cookies and Analytics Choices

We use necessary cookies and similar storage to operate the site. We may use analytics cookies or pixels, including Google Analytics if enabled, to understand traffic, page performance, and product usage.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may cause account, editor, preference, analytics, or security features to work less reliably. You can also use tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out, Network Advertising Initiative opt-out, or Your Online Choiceswhere applicable.

Some browsers send Do Not Track signals. Because there is no uniform industry standard for those signals, we do not currently respond to every DNT signal. Where required by law, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals for activities that require an opt-out.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law. Retention periods depend on the type of information, account status, legal obligations, security needs, billing records, dispute history, and the feature used.

Uploaded images and generated outputs may be retained to provide the editor, account history, downloads, abuse prevention, debugging, support, or billing dispute handling. We may delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

9. Security

We use technical, administrative, and operational measures designed to protect information, including server-side handling of third-party API calls, access controls, logging, rate limits, and secure infrastructure practices. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed without authorization.

10. International Transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, opt-out of marketing, opt-out of certain targeted advertising or sale/share activities, and appeal of a denied request.

To exercise rights, contact us at luforgeai@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and request details before acting on a request. You may also use an authorized agent where applicable law allows it.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting luforgeai@gmail.com. Transactional, security, billing, and service messages may still be sent when needed.

12. Children

Luforge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party websites, marketplaces, help pages, payment processors, or other services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new Last updated date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required by law.
